Remember When... Scraps of Darkness Kit -> video tutorial for Distress Paint splashes

Have You seen this gorgeous Kit on Scraps of Darkness' page?

I just LOVE that! Main Kit is so interesting (a lot of Bo Bunny Mammarazzi papers, rubons, die cuts, some Prima stuff as always :D and more...), I have also Creativity Add On and Color Add On which means Distress Paints and Vintaj Patinas and more! :D

Of course it's time for new video from me :)

I made notebook with few techniques, today - first of them - splashing with Distress Paints!

You know that effect when You hit Distrass Stain dabber on paper (or other surface) and there's great splash? Well, You have to do better than this with Distress Paints but effect is worth it and... hey, it's super easy!

Kartka z kotwicami - Anchors card

Razem z nowymi wzorami stempli 3rd Eye wskoczyłam w niebieskości.
I jumped into blues with new designs of 3rd Eye stamps.

Zastemplowałam tło trzema stemplami z kotwicami, a małe kotwicowe trojaczki trafiły też w ramkę.

I stamped background with 3 anchors designs and small anchors triplets goes into frame, too.

Kartka słoneczna + wyzwanie 3rd Eye | sunny card and 3rd Eye challenge

Tyle żółtego nie było chyba od scrapa ze zdjęciami z chrztu mojej kuzynki... ale skoro na 3rd Eye jest słoneczne wyzwanie - to wyszło właśnie tak ;)

I haven't used yellow in that amount probably since LO with photos from my cousin's baptism... but on 3rd Eye is sunny challenge now! So I created this card in very sunny way;)

Użyłam tu ścinków różnych żółtych papierów oraz dwóch rodzajów tuszu. Pierwszy tusz to czarny pigmentowy na bazie oleju, który posłużył do odbicia stempla w centrum kartki - słońce TES-021 sun.

I used some left yellow paper pieces and two kinds of inks. First ink is oil based black pigment ink - I stamp with it TES-021 sun.

Rest of stamping is made using rusty water ink (I colored sun with it too). Well, I had to stamp sun with permanent ink but this turn out well. Below back of my card:

Resztę motywów (a trochę ich tu znajdziecie;) stemplowałam rudym tuszem wodnym. Nim też pomalowałam słońce. W zasadzie stempel do malowania powinnam była odbić tuszem permanentnym ale tutaj też nic się nie rozmazało. Na deser tył kartki:

Spotkałyście się z sytuacją, w której mimo uwielbienia do wzoru papieru scrapbookingowego, brakuje mu spójności z projektem, który tworzycie? Za jasny, za ciemny, zły odcień, za mało wzorów? za mocny wzór?…

Nic straconego ;) Wyobraźcie sobie, że do zrobienia pięciu poniższych kompletów zakładek do książek użyłam tylko dwóch papierów.

You know that situation, when You love concrete scrapbook paper but it's to darker for Your project? Too light? Bad shade? Not enough patterns? Too strong patter?...

Nothing wasted ;) Imagine, that for creating five below bookmarks sets I used only TWO papers.

Kartka żurawinowa - cranberry card

Co prawda ostatnio szalałam w niebieskościach i zieleniach (nie mogąc się doczekać cieplejszej pogody… Już chyba wszędzie można przeczytać marudzenie na przedłużającą się zimę, brrrrr!) …w każdym razie, pora na czerwienie, szkarłaty i wszelkich podobnych.

Last times there were so many spring colors... (well, talking about spring is everywhere now, brrr!)... anyway I want to come back to red, burgyndy, scarlet and similiar shades. Here is truly fruity card! I used Adirondack Color Wash mist in Cranberry shade and Distress Stain Festive Berries.

W weekend obiecałam Wam filmik z tworzeniem mixedmediowej kartki :) Udało się go poskładać i załadować na YouTube ;) Oczywiście do zrobienia kartki użyłam marcowego zestawu Scraps of Darkness!
